Bruce Borup: The Man at the Helm

Originally from the United Kingdom, Bruce Borup is a well-traveled business magnate, who has shown exemplary performance in corporate management in a multitude of industries. Renowned for his expertise, he ranked number 404 on the annual INC 500 list in 2006 and was listed at the top of INC 500’s fastest rising defense contractors in the United States the following year.

Bruce completed his high school education at the Tiffin Grammar located in Kingston Surrey, United Kingdom. He attended law school at the Anglia Ruskin University at Chelmsford Essex, where he graduated with honors. He furthered his education and completed his Master’s degree in marketing and his Doctorate degree in Business Administration at the SouthWest University.

Bruce Borup joined the faculty of the prestigious Alaska Pacific University in 1999, where he taught MBA courses specializing in Fast-Growth Management, Venture Funding, Leadership, Finance, and International Market. While at the university, he established the Alaska Business Plan Competition, the Elevator Roast, and the Students in Free Enterprise Team. He was honored with the university-wide “Top Teaching” award every year during his tenure, and was awarded twice with the “Sam Walton Fellowship” award.

Distinguished for his entrepreneurial and managerial skills, he was at the forefront of several multimillion dollar firms, including CFC and Berkeley Bionics. During his stint with CFC, Borup supervised diversified operations relating to aerospace engineering and manufacturing. At Berkeley Bionics, he helped advance the exoskeleton technology, which the company engineered and introduced into the global market.

Currently the Chief Executive Officer at GSC Capital, LLC, a Mergers and Acquisitions consultancy firm, Borup now contributes his expertise in the acquisition and development of federal contracting companies.
